Draw EY = 4 cm

$\to$ With Y as centre & radius = AY = 8cm draw an arc.

with E as center & radius = EA = 4cm,
cut the previous arc

Make the point as A.
$\to$ Join EA

$\to$ SY = 6cm
$\therefore$ AS = SY = 6 cm
$\because$ 2 pairs of sides are equal in a kite.
With Y as center & YS as radius, draw an arc. With A as center & as radius, cut the previous arc to get points.
