Question

Construct the triangle with the following measurements and locate the centroid:
XYZ with XY=6.5cm, YZ=5.6cm and XZ=7.2cm

Open in App
Solution

In a triangle a median is a line which joins the vertex to the midpoint of the opposite side.
When all the medians of a triangle intersect they intersect meet at a point in the center. That point is called the centroid.
a centroid is drawn by taking the midpoint of all the sides.
We take the rounder and put one point at the vertex. The other point is a little more than half the sides. This is done with two vertex and then we get the center of the sides and a line is passed. This is done with all the sides.
Then we get the center point o which is the centroid.
