Convert each of the following pairs into percentage and find out which is more $?$

$25$ marks out of $30$, and $35$ marks out of $40$

To convert into percentage multiply it by $100$ and put $\%$

We have $25$ marks out of $30$ i.e

$\frac{25}{30}\times 100\%=83.33\%$

Also, $35$ marks out of $40$

$\frac{35}{40}\times 100\%=3.5\times 25\%=87.5\%$

Hence, $35$ marks out of $40$ are more than $25$ marks out of $30$.
