Here, number of digits in decimal part is $1$

$\Rightarrow 2.6$$=\frac{26}{10}$

Step 2:- Converting the fraction into percentage

To convert a fraction into percentage. we multiply it by $100$ and put $\%$sign

$2.6$ $=\frac{26}{10}\times 100\%$ $\because$Multiplying by $100$

$=\frac{2600}{10}\%$

$=260\%$ $\because$ On dividing $2600$ by $10$

Hence, $2.6$$=260\%$
