Solution
Reason for using convex mirrors as rear-view mirrors of vehicles
A convex mirror always forms a diminished, virtual and erect image.
It allows more light to fall because of the nature of its curvature as it is large.
It has more field of view.
Thus, a convex mirror is used as a rear-view mirror in vehicles.
Example - The word AMBULANCE is written laterally inverted in front of the ambulance because when seen in the rereview mirror by another vehicle, the image of the word would get inverted, letting the driver read the word properly so that he can provide the way to the ambulance.
