In face centred cubic arrangement, face diagonal is four times the radius of atoms face
diagonal = 4×128=512pm
Face diagonal = 2× edge length
Edge length =5122=362×1010cm
Volume of the unit cell =(362×1010)3cm3=47.4×1024cm3
In a face centred cubic unit cell, there are four atoms per unit cell
Mass of unit cell =4×63.56.023×1023g=4.22×1022g
Density =mass of unit cellvolume of unit cell=4.22×102247.4×1024=8.9gcm3
