Axis of symmetry is a line that divides an object into two equal halves, thereby creating a mirror-like reflection of either side of the object.

In the given figure there is only one axis of symmetry which is the vertical axis of symmetry. On drawing a horizontal line, the triangle and circle do not form symmetry, so horizontal symmetry is not possible.
