  1. Pedicel is the stalk of the flower that gives the attachment of the flower with the stem.
  2. Thalamus is the swollen tip of the pedicel that bears all floral whorls.
  3. Sepals constitute the green colour, an outermost whorl of the flower which protects the floral organs during bud conditions.
  4. Petals are the coloured leaves of flower that attracts pollinating agents.
  5. Stigma is the disc-like top of style that receives pollen grans.
  6. Style is the long, tube-like extension of the ovary that connects the stigma with the ovary.
  7. Ovary is swollen basal part of the carpel which contains ovules.
  8. Stamen is the female part of the flower which is differentiated into anther and filament.
