Solution

The correct option is C mammals
The right and left cerebral hemispheres are joined by a tract or bundle of nerve fibres called corpus callosum. It is a large, C- shaped nerve fibre bundle which stretches along the midline of the brain, connecting the left and right cerebral hemispheres. It is present only in mammals. It is absent in prototherians and poorly developed in marsupials.
