Solution

The correct option is C 6CO2+12H2OC6H12O6+6O2+6H2O
Photosynthesis is an anabolic process happening in green plants during which plant body synthesises its own food material by taking carbon dioxide from atmosphere and water from soil in presence of sunlight. In photosynthesis, carbon dioxide and water helps in the formation of glucose which is food for the plants and evolution of oxygen also takes place. In this process, six molecules of carbon dioxide and 12 molecules of water is used to form one molecule of glucose. Six molecules of oxygen gas is evolved which comes from the water and not from the carbon dioxide. Six molecules of water are also formed.
So, following is the correct equation for photosynthesis:
6CO2+12H2OLightChlorophyllC6H12O6+6O2+6H2O
