Solution
The correct option is C FSH, Estrogen, Progesterone
When the menstrual cycle starts, FSH (Follicle stimulating hormone) is secreted from anterior pituitary which stimulates the development of ovarian follicles upto ovulation. On the 14th day of cycle, there is surge in LH (Luteinizing hormone) levels and this triggers ovulation i.e. release of ovum from the follicle. Ovarian follicles secrete estrogen hormone which stimulates development of secondary sex organs and sexual characters. The ruptured follicle develops into corpus luteum, a yellow body that secretes progesterone hormone required for maintenance of inner lining of uterus.
So, the correct answer is 'FSH, Estrogen, Progesterone'.
