As we go higher, the content of water vapour in the air goes up.

As we go higher, the content of water vapour in the air becomes less. At twenty kilometres of height from the surface of the earth, there is almost no water vapour. This can be attributed to the gravity of the earth in the holding the gaseous components of the atmosphere near the surface of the earth.
