Area of smaller triangle =48cm2


By the property of area of two similar triangle,


Ratioofareaofbothtriangles=(Ratiooftheircorrespondingsides)2


ar(smallertriangle)ar(largertriangle)=(23)2


48ar(largertriangle)=49


Area of larger triangle =48×94=12×9=108cm2
