Cost of 2.6g of metal =11.2×2.6
Steps to solve 11.2×2.6
Step 1: Count the number of digits after decimal point for both the numbers and add them.i.e 1+1=2

Step 2: Ignore a decimal point and perform the multiplication, as you would with whole numbers as follows

Step 3: Now place a decimal point back.
