Cost of a toffee =50paise

Cost of a chocolate =10

Convert the given unit into same unit.

We know that,

1=100paise

Therefore, 10=100×10paise=1000paise

ratio of the cost of a toffee to the cost of a chocolate=50paise1000paise=120 ( Divide both numerator and denominator by their HCF 50)

Hence, the ratio of the cost of a toffee to the cost of a chocolate is 1:20
