1.First, need the number of floors between
36 and 96.
Subtract: 96 - 36 =60.
So the balloon travels 60 floors

2. Now need the total meters at 4 m per floor. Multiply the 60 floors by 4 = 240 meters

3. Since a ballon rises 3 meters every second, divide the total in 2 above by 3
: 240/3 = 80 seconds to travel the 60 floors

so 1minute 20 seconds required
