Solution

The correct option is C Crustacea
Crustaceans body is composed of head and the thorax. The head and thorax is fused to form a cephalothorax. There are two components of the crustacean respiratory system which are gill ventilation and perfusion. In the simplest condition, each segment of a crustacean possesses one pair of biramous appendages. A biramous appendage is one that has two branches. Crustaceans form a very large group of arthropods, which includes many familiar animals as crabs, prawns, shrimp, lobsters, crayfish etc. Most crustaceans are free-living aquatic animals. More than 10 million tons of crustaceans are produced by fishery or farming for human consumption, the majority of it being shrimp and prawns.
Thus, the correct answer is option C.
