Open in App
Solution

Dear Student,
Linkage is the tendency of genes or characters to be inherited together because of their location on the same chromosome.
Crossing Over produces the recombination of genes by interchanging segments between nonsister chromatids formed by the pairing of paternal and maternal chromosome of homologous chromosomes
A crossing over occurs within a linkage group allowing their recombination during meiosis.
