In solar eclipse, the sun fully or partially covers the moon and the shadow of the moon falls on the earth and it becomes darker in the daytime.
Its is said that lunar eclipse is when the earth is between the sun and the moon and on that day you don't see the moon in the sky. In the phases of moon when the earth is between the sun and the moon we see a full moon but even on the full moon days the earth comes beween the sun and the moon at that time why does the earth's shadow not fall on the moon instead we see a full moon why is that so?
It's given in a video that when the earth comes in middle of the moon and the sun,Full moon is formed. But when this happens, won't the shadow of the earth fall on moon which causes lunar eclipse?
