The correct option is A Cube X
For cube X:

Side of cube =6 cm
Volume of cube =side×side×side
Volume of cube =6 cm×6 cm×6 cm
=216 cm3

The volume of cube X is 216 cm3.

For cube Y:

Side of cube =9 cm
Volume of cube =side×side×side
Volume of cube =9 cm×9 cm×9 cm
=729 cm3

The volume of cube Y is 729 cm3.

As we know that,
216 cm3<729 cm3
we can say that the cube X has a smaller volume.
