Cytokinesis of a plant cell is achieved by the formation of cell plate which is formed in
centrifugal manner
Cytokinesis is the division of the cytoplasm which follows the division of the nucleus. In plant cells, it occurs by the formation of cell plate. Cell plate grows outwards from the centre (centrifugal) and fuses with the plasma membrane of the cell dividing the cell into two. Cellulose is then laid down on the new membranes creating two new cell walls.
