The given fractions $\frac{3}{4},\frac{2}{8}$ are unlike fractions because they have different denominators.

When we compare two unlike fractions, we first get their equivalent fractions with a denominator which is a common multiple of the denominators of both the fractions.

The LCM of 4 and 8 is 8.

The equivalent fractions with the same denominator are :

$\frac{3}{4}=\frac{3\times 2}{4\times 2}=\frac{6}{8}$ and $\frac{2}{8}=\frac{2\times 1}{8\times 1}=\frac{2}{8}$

Now, $\frac{6}{8}>\frac{2}{8}$

$\therefore$ $\frac{3}{4}>\frac{2}{8}$
