Solution

In ΔABC and Δ ADC

∠BAC = ∠ADC (given)
∠ACB = ∠DCA (common)
therefore ∠ABC = ∠CAD
Hence Δ ABC and Δ DCA are similar
So, Ratio of their corresponding sides are equal

therefore CA/CB = CD/CA
or CA/CD = CB/CA proved
