The correct option is A Clipboard

Data that is copied from an application is stored in the Clipboard

When you copy data to the clipboard, whatever data was already stored in the clipboard is typically replaced by the new data. Because the clipboard data is stored in RAM, it is also deleted when your computer is shut down or restarted.

When you copy something, previous clipboard contents is owerwritten. So you can not find clipboard history by the means of Windows OS. To find clipboard history you need to use special tool - clipboard manager. Clipdiary will save everything you copy to the clipboard.

To open the Clipboard task pane, click Home, and then click the Clipboard dialog box launcher. Double-click the image or text you want to paste. Note: To open the Clipboard task pane in Outlook, in an open message, click the Message tab, and then click the Clipboard dialog box launcher in the Clipboard group.
