Suppose you don’t know in which direction the Time direction module is plugged in the time machine. Now if you start travelling, the direction you would travel to may be future or past. There are two possibilities, just like when you toss a coin. When you toss a coin, you can either get a head or a tail. The probability of getting a head or a tail is 12. But you can never know for sure whether you will get a head or a tail. Similarly, here also probability that you would go to future will be 12 because you don’t know the direction of the Time direction module.
