Q. If the cost price of 18 mangoes is the same as the selling price of 16 mangoes find the gain percent

18CP = 16SP
SP = 9/8 CP
GAIN PERCENT = GAIN/CP X 100
GAIN = SP - CP = 9/8CP - CP = 1/8CP
GAIN/CP = 1/8
GAIN PERCENT = 1/8 X 100 = 12.5 %
