Let the total income be ₹x.
Total % going in investments and expenses = 15 + 20 + 8 + 37 = 80%
Total remaining = 100 - 80 = 20%
20x100=8000
x=8000×10020=40000
Total invested in fixed deposit = 8% of ₹40000 = 8100×40000
= ₹3200
