Continuous variables:
1. Production of wheat in the last 10 years in our country
2. Rainfall in our city in the last 10 years
As both of these variables can take any numerical value within a given range, these are continuous variables.
Discrete variables:
1. Number of females per 1000 males in various states of our country
2. Number of plants in our locality
These are discrete variables as neither of these can take any numerical value inside a certain range.
