Decimal 16.25 is equal to the fraction
654
To convert a decimal into fraction we follow the steps as follows:

(ii) Multiply and divide the number by 1 followed by n zeros, where n is the number of digits after the decimal.
In 16.25 there are two digits after the decimal place. So we multiply and divide it by 100.
16.25×100100=1625100
Finally, converting the obtained fraction in its lowest form by dividing numerator and denominator by their HCF.
∴ 16.25 = 1625100 = 1625÷25100÷25 = 654 [∴ HCF of 1625 and 100 is 25]
