Deepak bought a basket of mangoes containing 250 mangoes, 12% of these were found to be rotten. Of the remaining, 10% got crushed. Hoe many mangoes were in good condition?

Step 1: Calculate the total number of rotten mangoes
Given: Total number of mangoes = 250

So, the rotten mangoes = 12% of 250

=250×12100

=250×12100

=3000100=30
Step 2: Calculate the total number of remaining mangoes

Remaining mangoes = (Total mangoes -Rotten mangoes)

= 250 -30

= 220

Step 3: Calculate the total number of crushed mangoes

Number of crushed mangoes = 10% of remaining mangoes

= 10% of 220

=10100×220

= 2200100=22
Step 4: Calculate the number of mangoes that were in good condition

Number of mangoes in good condition

= Remaining mangoes - Crushed mangoes

= 220 - 22

= 198

Hence, 198 mangoes were in good condition.
