Question
Deepti went on an expedition to Iceland. Because it is very cold there she took a fur coat with her. On reaching there she realised that it was so cold that even the fur coat was not enough. A local friend told friend told her to wear the fur coat inside out so that the fur side was inside. She tried it and felt much warmer. But she was confused. She knew that fur traps air that provides insulation from the cold. but could not understand why inverting the coat made it more effective. Can you solve her confusion?
