Solution

The correct option is D Interveinal chlorosis first on young leaves
Iron is relatively immobile ion and is absorbed in ferrous and ferric forms. It is the important constituent of ferredoxin and cytochromes and acts as an activator for enzymes catalyzing reactions of chlorophyll synthesis. Iron-deficient plants develop interveinal chlorosis on young leaves. Interveinal chlorosis is yellowing of leaves between the veins, developed due to abnormal chlorophyll synthesis due to iron deficiency.
