1. Niche - An organism’s niche describes both its location and work within a particular community or ecosystem
2. Food chain - A food chain is a linear sequence of organisms in which each organism is eaten by the next member in the sequence. This interaction among organisms involves the transfer of energy from one organism to another.
3. Decomposers - Decomposers are microorganisms which obtain nutrients by breaking down the remains of dead plants and animals. For example, bacteria and fungi. The decomposers play a very important role in the recycling of nutrients by returning these nutrients back to the soil.
4. Detritivores - Detritivores are the organisms that feed upon the dead bodies of other organisms. For example, vulture and pigs. These organisms are also known as scavengers.
