(a) Oviparous: Animals which lay eggs are known as oviparous animals. All birds, frogs, lizards, crocodiles, etc. belong to this group.
(b) Viviparous animals: Animals which give birth to young ones are known as viviparous animals. Animals like lions, tigers, dogs, humans, etc. belong to this group.
(c) Pollination: The process of transfer of pollen grains from the anther to the stigma is known as pollination.
(d) Fertilization: The process of fusion of the male and female gamete that results in the formation of zygote is known as fertilization.
(e) Budding: It a type of asexual reproduction which involves the formation of a new individual from a protrusion called the bud.
