2. In ecology, the ecosystem is the basic unit of study.
3. An ecosystem can be small like an aquarium and as huge as a forest.

Components of ecosystem:

1. Ecosystem has 2 basic components- Biotic and Abiotic.
2. Biotic components consist of living beings like plants, animals and microbes.
3. Abiotic components consists of non-living which includes sunlight, wind, water etc.
