Define an enzyme. How do you differentiate between an enzyme and an ordinary catalyst?

Enzymes are protein molecules which act as a catalyst in a body cell. They speed up a chemical reaction. They serve a wide range of important functions in a body. They help in digestion, aiding and metabolism.

The difference between enzyme and catalyst is that enzyme are organic in nature and are natural bio-catalyst where are catalysts are inorganic compounds. Enzymes have high molecular weight whereas catalyst has lower molecular weight.
