Definition
A machine whose parts are weightless and frictionless, such that whatsoever is the energy spent on it, same is the energy produced by it, it is called an ideal machine
The ideal machine is also called a perfect machine.
Explanation
It is not possible to have an ideal machine because there cannot be a machine, whose parts are weightless or frictionless.
However, if we take the view that energy spent on a machine is overcoming resistance, is in a way very useful, then any machine can be called a perfect machine or an ideal machine.
