  1. Non-electrolytes
  2. Weak electrolytes
  3. Strong electrolytes

Solution

Electrolytes: These are the substances that dissociate into ions and can conduct electricity.

For example Sulphuric acid(H2SO4), Hydrochloric acid(HCl)

a.) Non-Electrolytes: These are substances that do not dissociate into ions and therefore can not conduct electricity.

For example Sugar, Alcohol(C2H5OH)

b.) Weak Electrolytes: These are the substances that partly dissociate into ions (do not dissociate completely).

For example Acetic acid(CH3COOH), Ammonia(NH3)

c.)Strong Electrolytes: These are the substances that completely dissociate into ions.

For example Sulphuric acid(H2SO4), Hydrochloric acid(HCl)
