Dear Student, Breathing is the mechanical process by which an organism takes in oxygen and exhale out carbon dioxide. Four types of breathing involves:- 1. Diaphragmatic- When we inhale diaphragm muscles lower down which decreases the space in abdominal cavity. 2. Thoracic:- If diaphragm does not expand so chest needs to accomodate the inhaled air. 3. Clavicular:- Lungs occupy the space upto near the collar body, so when we don't inhale lower than collar bone it is clavicular or also known as shallow breathing. 4. Paradoxical- It is a kind of breathing where chest instead of expanding compresses on breathing or vice versa. Thank You!
