  1. The vascular bundle are components of the transport system in all vascular plants. It mainly comprises two tissues: the xylem and the phloem. Both such tissues conduct substances.
  2. Types of vascular bundles:
    1. Open vascular bundles– Such vascular bundles are composed of the cambium. Example– dicots
    2. Closed vascular bundles- Such vascular bundles do not possess cambium. Example– monocots.
