Seeds of angiosperm contain seed leaves inside which they store food.
These are called cotyledons.
These are divided into two groups
Monocotyledons – They have a single cotyledon. Example – Maize, wheat, rice.
Dicotyledons- They have two cotyledons. Example- Pea, rose and banyan.
