Define dry ice.

(1)When liquid ${\mathrm{CO}}_2$ is cooled to $-78°\mathrm{C}$,under normal pressure,it changes into a snow-white solid,called dry ice.

(2)Dry ice has nothing in common with ice formed from water,except that it is a solid with snow-white colour.
