Question

Define electric current and potential difference.give their s.i unit?

Open in App
Solution

Dear student
Electric current is defined as the rate of flow of charge through a conductor.
I = q/t
It's SI unit is Ampere.
Potential difference is defined as the work done to move a unit charge from one point to another.

the formula to find potential difference is V =W/Q

where v = potential difference,

w= work done ,

Q = amount of charge

The SI unit of potential difference is Volt (V) .
