Fossil fuel:

Some examples of fossil fuels are:

  1. Coal
  2. Natural gas
  3. Petroleum

Because they are non-renewable sources of energy, we should be cautious while using fossil fuels. Two precautions that should be taken in using fossil fuels to avert the energy crisis are:

  1. Fossil fuels should only be used when no alternative or renewable source of energy is available.
  2. Wastage of fossil fuels should be prevented in homes, transport, and industry.
