The lever turns about a fixed axis, and the axis passes through a point in the lever that can lie anywhere on the lever and is called a fulcrum.
The class of lever will be according to the location of the fulcrum-
In class 1 lever, the fulcrum lies in between the endpoints load and effort.
In class 2 levers, the load lies in between the endpoints fulcrum and effort.
In class 3 levers, the effort lies in between the endpoints fulcrum and load.
