Define fungicide and rodenticide.

Fungicides are biological compounds which are used to kill fungi or their spores which have attacked the plants. It controls the growth of fungus by inhibiting them. Fungi cause diseases in plants which leads to the loss in production. Captan, captafol, nabam, maneb etc are some examples of fungicides.
Rodenticides are the pesticides that kill rodents like rats. They are non-specific chemicals used to kill the rodents. They are formulated as baits with attractive smells. Rodents include rats, squirrels, etc. Bromethalin, Zinc phosphides, vitaminD3 are some examples of rodenticides.
