Definition of humidity:

  1. Humidity is a measurement of the amount of vapour present in the air.
  2. If humidity is high, it will be difficult for liquid to add more vapour in the air as there is already a high amount of vapour, therefore with the increase in humidity, the rate of evaporation decreases and vice-versa.
