• The compound which have same molecular formula but different structural formula are known as isomers and process is called Isomerism
• For example 1-Chloro Propane & 2-Chloro Propane are isomers of each other.
• They have same molecular formula $\left({\mathrm{C}}_3{\mathrm{H}}_7\mathrm{Cl}\right)$ but different structures.
• The isomeric structures of 1-Chloro Propane & 2-Chloro Propane are as follows.
