Define magma.
Magma:
Magma can be described as the molten rock or hot liquid rock found underground (below the surface of the Earth). The temperature of magma is extremely high and it lies between 700 degrees Celsius to 1300 degrees Celsius. Magma is a mixture of solid rock, minerals, dissolved gases (like water vapor, sulfur, and carbon dioxide), and some small quantity of chlorine as well as fluorine gases.
Advantages of magma formation:
(1) It increases the use of renewable energy.
(2) The ash poured out by the volcano is very useful as a fertilizer for the soil.
