Magnification by mirror is the ratio of height of the image(h') to the height of the object(h).It is also equal to negative of the ratio of the image distance(v)
In case of plane mirror, magnification is +1 .
Value 1 indicates that image is as same size of object. Where as Plus(+) sign indicates that image formed is virtual and erect
